Privacy Policy

FastGreen ("we", "us") sells plants and garden supplies and provides landscaping and garden-maintenance services in Bengaluru through fastgreen.in. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. If you sign in with your mobile number, we receive the verified number.
• Order details: name, mobile number, optional email, delivery address, items ordered, amounts, payment method and payment references you share with us (for example a UPI transaction ID).
• Service enquiries: name, mobile number, optional email, pincode, address, description and any preferred visit date you provide.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, your browser's user-agent, and request logs used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not store card numbers or UPI PINs. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• To create and secure your account, process and deliver orders, and confirm payments.
• To respond to service enquiries, arrange site visits and provide garden services.
• To provide customer support, handle returns and replacements, and keep records the law requires.
• To protect the site against fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

• Delivery and service staff (our own team or a delivery partner) receive the name, phone number and address needed to deliver or visit.
• Service providers that run our site: Google Firebase (sign-in) and Railway (hosting and database). They process data only on our instructions.
• Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years). Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 2 years. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Some records (such as completed orders) may need to be kept to meet legal obligations. To make a request, use the enquiry form on our Garden services page. We respond within 30 days.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in readable form, sign-in sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it.

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, use the enquiry form on our Garden services page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
